Ingredients
- 1 (12-count) pack of sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 1/2 pound sliced oven-roasted turkey breast (deli-style or leftover, thinly sliced)
- 8 slices of mild cheddar cheese (or mozzarella, provolone, or your favorite melty cheese)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon poppy seeds for topping
Instructions
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready to go once you’ve assembled your sliders. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
Without separating the individual rolls, carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Use a serrated knife for clean cuts. Place the bottom half of the rolls into your prepared baking dish.
Evenly layer the sliced turkey over the bottom half of the rolls. Try to cover the entire surface so every slider gets a hearty portion.
Top the turkey with slices of cheese, overlapping them slightly if needed to cover all the turkey. You can double the cheese if you like it extra gooey.
Gently place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer, aligning them with the bottoms. Press down very slightly to help everything hold together.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. For a little extra flair, stir in poppy seeds if using.
Using a pastry brush or spoon, generously spread the butter mixture all over the tops of the rolls. Make sure to get into the crevices so every roll is flavorful and golden after baking.
Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melty.
Let the sliders sit for 5 minutes before slicing between each roll. This helps the cheese set just slightly and makes cutting easier.
Serve warm as is or with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or cranberry sauce for a holiday-inspired twist.
