Instructions
Follow these simple steps to create amazing Shredded Beef Sliders:
1. Prepare the Beef: Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and cut it into large chunks.
2. Season the Beef: In a small bowl, mix together black pepper, paprika, cumin, and chili powder. Rub the seasoning all over the beef chunks.
3. Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Combine Ingredients: Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic into your slow cooker. Add the seasoned beef chunks on top.
5. Add Liquids: Pour the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar over the beef.
6. Slow Cook: If using a slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Alternatively, if using a stovetop, cover and simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours, until the beef is tender.
7. Shred the Beef: Once cooked, remove the beef from the slow cooker or pot. Use two forks to shred the meat.
8. Combine with Juices: Return the shredded beef to the pot and mix with the juices for added flavor.
9. Prepare the Buns: If desired, lightly toast the slider buns for extra texture.
10. Assemble Sliders: Place a generous portion of shredded beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Add your favorite toppings before placing the top half of the bun on.
