Ingredients
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup milk (whole or 2%)
- ½ cup heavy cream (for a richer texture)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ tsp onion powder (optional)
- 1 sheet refrigerated pie crust (or homemade)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick spray or butter.
Roll out the pie crust and use a round cookie cutter (about 3 inches in diameter) to cut out 12 circles. Press each circle into the muffin cups, gently molding the dough to fit the sides.
Divide the diced ham evenly between the muffin cups, then sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ham and cheese, filling each cup about ¾ full.
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the quiches are set and slightly golden on top. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
Let the quiches cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then carefully remove them. Garnish with chopped chives and serve warm!
