  • Author: Luna
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 16 brownies 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (85g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs (halal-certified)
  • ½ cup pastel candy-coated chocolates (halal-friendly)
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows (gelatin-free)
  • Optional: pastel sprinkles, edible glitter, melted white chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

2. Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.

3. Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.

4. Stir in Chocolate Chips

  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips or chunks to ensure even distribution throughout the batter.

5. Pour Batter into the Pan

  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula or offset knife.

6. Decorate with Toppings

  • Lightly press in half the mini eggs, candy-coated chocolates, and marshmallows onto the surface.

7. Bake the Brownies

  • Bake for 28–32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

8. Cool and Finish Decorating

  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes.
  • While still warm, add the remaining mini eggs, candies, and marshmallows so they stick without melting.

9. Optional Final Touches

  • Drizzle with melted white chocolate, add pastel sprinkles, or dust with edible glitter for extra flair.

10. Slice and Serve

  • Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
  • Serve on a festive platter or package individually for gifts.
