  • Author: Luna
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 pizza bombs 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Pizza Bombs:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cubed mozzarella)
  • 24 slices of pepperoni (2 per pizza bomb)
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven & Prepare Dough

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a muffin tin for easy baking.

2. Flatten the Dough

  • If using biscuit dough, separate it into individual pieces.
  • If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into 12 equal portions.
  • Flatten each piece into a 3-4 inch circle to make room for the filling.

3. Fill with Pizza Goodness

  • Spread 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each dough circle.
  • Add 2 slices of pepperoni and a generous pinch of mozzarella cheese.
  • Sprinkle with a little oregano and red pepper flakes if you like extra flavor.

4. Seal the Pizza Bombs

  • Carefully pull the edges of the dough up and pinch them together to seal the filling inside.
  • Roll into a ball shape and place seam-side down on the baking sheet or in a muffin tin.

5. Brush with Garlic Butter & Bake

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

6. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let cool slightly before serving (the cheese inside will be hot!).
  • Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.
