Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Carrots

  1. Wash, peel, and slice the carrots into rounds or sticks, depending on your preference.

Step 2: Sauté the Carrots

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the carrots and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3: Add Sweetener and Seasoning

  1. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the carrots and drizzle with honey or maple syrup if using.
  2. Add salt, black pepper, and cinnamon (if using). Stir well to coat all the carrots in the glaze.
