In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne, salt, and cumin.

-
Pat the chicken dry using paper towels.
-
Drizzle oil over the chicken and rub it evenly on both sides.
-
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning mix generously over each piece.
-
Rub the spices into the meat to coat thoroughly.
3. Optional marination
-
For deeper flavor, let the seasoned chicken rest for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

You can also add lemon juice during this time to tenderize the meat and enhance flavor.

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
-
Add a small amount of oil if needed to prevent sticking.
-
Place chicken in the pan and cook for 6-8 minutes per side.

5. Rest and serve
-
Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.
